Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19-20

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Here is a list of a Few missions/Missionaries that Calvary Chapel Salmon Partners with:

Bud Stonebreaker (Okinawa, Japan)

Konnichiwa! My name is Bud Stonebraker, and I serve as a missionary in Okinawa, Japan. Last year, while attending Bible college at CBI Japan, God completely transformed my life. He gave me a calling to serve Him in Japan through full-time ministry. I went from being a teenager who was anxious about my future and unsure of my direction in life, to knowing that there is nothing I would rather do than serve Jesus with my whole life. Much of my life now is spent learning Japanese, studying God's word, serving in the ministries here at the church, such as youth group and street evangelism, and most importantly I'm drawing closer to Jesus, so that I can be effective for Him to those around me.
One of my favorite passages in the Bible is Matthew 6:25–34, especially verse 33:
“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
If you would like to learn more about what I do, or if you would like to receive my monthly updates about what God is doing here in Japan, feel free to contact me personally at donaldstonebraker@gmail.com.
God bless!

Sohrab

My name is Sohrab, and I’m from Tehran, Iran.
I was born and raised as a Shia Muslim in Tehran. I grew up in a very difficult and unstable home as an unwanted child. When I was a teenager, my parents divorced, and both of them eventually asked me to leave their homes, in a same day, while I was still in high school, I became homeless.
The rejection, hatred, and loneliness I experienced began to grow deep inside me. During that time, I started believing that neither justice nor God truly existed. I turned to the ways of the world to find meaning and comfort, getting involved with drugs, unhealthy relationships, and many of the things the world offered me.
As I searched for a way to live, I eventually heard about Jesus. At first, I didn’t take Him
seriously. Eventually, in the depths of my darkness and depression, I decided to end my life. But just as I was about to do it, something miraculous happened. Someone appeared in my room. His presence was incredibly bright and powerful, yet at the same
time, incredibly gentle. As someone who had always felt unwanted and rejected, for the first time in my life, I felt at HOME in His presence. I later understood that I was encountering Jesus.
I didn’t know who He was at that moment, but He began speaking to me. He said:
“I’m your real Father, and I know what you’ve been through.” I will never forget what I experienced that night. His presence was filled with love. I fell to my knees and said:
“Whoever You are, I know that You are real, and I will follow You.” That was the beginning of my journey with Jesus. I began searching for the Bible, eventually connected with an underground church, was baptized in water and in the Holy Spirit, and began serving the Lord.
However, throughout my journey, I constantly felt the lack of solid and accessible teaching materials in Farsi. I served for many years inside and outside of country. We witnessed many miracles during those years—people encountering Jesus in dreams, meeting Him personally, experiencing healing and deliverance, and many other testimonies of God's work. It was an incredible and beautiful season, but it was also extremely dangerous. Eventually, I had to leave the country.
For many years, I have been involved in teaching, translation, and worship ministry as a
musician. For security reasons, I cannot share all the details publicly. For the past two years, I have also been working closely with Calvary Chapel, primarily through translating and preparing teaching materials. I first met Pastor Hagen and Pastor Jordan during one of their teaching and conference trips. Since then, they and their church have continued to support and encourage me. At the moment, I serve the Farsi-speaking community in a local church as an assistant pastor and translator. In addition to my church ministry, I serve through several other areas, including translating books and teaching materials, video translation and subtitling, dubbing, teaching, worship leading, And one of the main focuses are dubbing Pastor Hagen’s teachings into Farsi
and make it available for Farsi speaking people.
I am especially thankful for the support of Calvary Chapel Salmon, which enables me to continue serving, teaching, translating, and reaching Farsi-speaking people with the Gospel.
What began with a broken and rejected teenager has become a journey of discovering the love of a Father who never rejected me—and my desire now is to help others discover that same love in Jesus Christ.
